CENTRAL ASSINIBOINE/LOWER SOURIS WATERSHED PLAN
Flooded farm yards! Boil Water Advisories! Pollution in the Assiniboine River! What natural resource and environmental issues concern you the most in the Assiniboine River and Lower Souris River Watershed? The Assiniboine Hills Conservation District is preparing a watershed plan and would like to know your priorities as they relate to water, soil, and habitat.
YOUR INPUT will affect what programs and projects receive FUNDING in the coming years.
We invite you to visit the new integrated watershed management planning webpage and online document warehouse. The purpose of this site is to provide a platform for sharing information as plans progress through development and provide updates as plans are implemented. On this site you will find maps, plan timelines, access to technical submissions and other supporting documents that help inform planning teams. The online comment form changes as plans move from the consultation phase, to the draft plan review phase, then finally to plan implementation. All comments received from these forms will be provided to relevant water planning authorities.
